Stage Left Lux, creative lighting company based in Derby, right in the heart of England. We are far much more than just a lamp shop.

Our purpose is to make the world a brighter and more fun place to be, one lamp at a time.

We design and make handmade bespoke lamps and feature lighting, made by hand in Derbyshire using upcycled and repurposed objects.

In our online lighting shop, you will find a range of handmade feature lamps available to buy, we can also help with vintage lighting repairs and restoration, we also design and built bespoke lamps to order.

We take every day unused old household objects and transform them into unique feature lights for your home.

In our lighting shop you will find a range of unique lighting creations, handcrafted by us in Great Britain.

We live by three core values: Conception, Conversion and Conservation.

From our Derby based work shop we can help with all aspects of a lamps lifecycle, from creating unique lights bespoke to order, to carrying out repairs and restoration on vintage and antique light fittings.

Conception

Creative lighting solutions, by conceiving unique lighting designs to suit any style that look perfect in any setting.

We create unique hand-made lamps which are available to buy in our online lighting shop.

Whatever your style we can design and create a light that you will love. Whether industrial steampunk is your thing, or rustic timber we can create a beautiful distinctive lamp that will enhance your living space or workplace.

Conversion

We can convert virtually any household object into a custom-made unique feature light for you. We love a challenge! So, if you're not sure if it can be done, get in touch we'd love to discuss your ideas and lighting requirements.

If you’ve got old unused objects in storage or in your attic that you don’t know what to do with, we can repurpose them into creative lighting features to add an element of fun and joy to brighten up your space.

With our upcycling service we can design and create a bespoke lamp especially for you.

We can sympathetically transform your old objects into beautifully lighting fixtures that you will treasure for a lifetime.

From musical instruments, your favourite drinks bottle, cups and saucers, old tools, sewing machines and telephones, practically anything can be upcycled into a wonderfully unique feature light for you.

Conservation

Our lighting repair service will help to bring your old lights back to life.

Stage Left Lux are experts in restoring vintage and antique lamps and light fixtures. We can rewire, fit new replacement parts and carry out repairs to most types of lamps and light fittings, including desk lamps, floor standing lamps, ceiling lights, wall lights and chandeliers.
